The dm-dialogicum, as the building is called, was officially opened on July 25, 2019 and now offers space for over 1,800 employees on 41,000 square meters. The drugstore company has invested more than 120 million euros in the project. The honeycomb-shaped building and the natural light through 12,700 square meters of glass provide employees with a pleasant working atmosphere. Special features include the inner courtyards with raised beds and the parking garage roof planted with fruit trees.

The flat, green building of the new dm headquarters offers plenty of space for new ideas and a new way of working together. Behind this is also the corporate culture, which puts people at the center.

In addition to the working atmosphere, special attention was also paid to the indoor climate. LTG was not only able to guarantee thermal comfort through tests in its own room flow laboratory in Zuffenhausen, but was also able to optimize it even further through special measures on the appliances. This ensures that in summer, despite a supply air temperature of approx. 18 ºC, a comfortable and naturally perceived room air flow develops. LTG’s FVPpulse appliances (ULK) were also chosen because they are highly energy-efficient and have low lifetime costs and therefore meet the high requirements of the DGNB and the ErP Directive.
