Are you unsure whether the air conditioning units in your system are performing properly? Are you registering a drop in performance in your air conditioning system and cannot determine the reason? LTG engineering services support you in finding the cause and help you to rectify the problem.
LTG engineers use the modern calorimetric test bench to determine the actual water-side cooling/heating capacity of air-water systems such as induction units and fan coil units with 2- or 4-pipe systems. The measurement provides information about the caloric output, flow and pressure loss ratios at the design point, but also in partial load behavior.
In practice, these are determined by various parameters such as structural conditions, different discharge contours, sill cladding, discharge and intake grilles or the discharge direction. If necessary, all of these on-site factors are also adjusted and taken into account during measurement in the laboratory. In this way, their influence on the calorific output or pressure loss can be investigated and the relevant parameters can be optimized experimentally at the same time - even with the original devices and sill claddings if required. For example, a solution to the problem can be found by making design adjustments to the device or the parapet, changing a grille or adapting the system on site.
