Centrifugal fan: Areas of application, advantages and typical uses
Centrifugal fans are used wherever high pressures are required. The air is deflected and accelerated radially outwards, which enables effective pressure build-up. This makes centrifugal fans particularly suitable for systems with high resistance, such as filter systems or industrial drying processes. They are also frequently used as conveyor fans.
