With the LTG SmartFlow system, LTG has combined a mixing and displacement diffuser in the ILQsf industrial diffuser for the first time, which enables operation with variable air volumes and effectively removes pollutants from the occupied zone even with a minimum supply air volume flow. The mixing diffuser works according to the induction principle: the supply air treated by the central system exits the mixing diffuser at high momentum, draws in room air and mixes. This creates a powerful air jet that stabilizes the flow regardless of the temperature. Thanks to the induction effect, this works with just one fifth of the maximum volume flow. Only when higher air volumes are required, such as when cooling a hall with low sub-zero temperatures, is additional air blown out at low speed via the displacement outlet. A mechanical element automatically distributes the air between the mixing and displacement outlets.
