The VRDactive variable volume flow controllers are used to control the volume flow in round air ducts of Comfort Air Technology systems independently of the pre-pressure. A full barrier can also be realized. Available with dynamic (VRDactive) and static (VRDactive-s) measuring principle. Activation and control are carried out with external energy (electrical). With 2 dampers for supply/exhaust air control in parallel ducts (e.g. hotel rooms).
The volume flow is measured either on the supply air side (supply air-led ventilation) or on the extract air side (extract air-led ventilation) and controlled according to a specified setpoint. The other – unmeasured – volume flow is synchronized by the fixed mechanical connection of the two dampers.
