VRD active

Cost-effective construction
Highest control accuracy
Very short design

Supply and exhaust air safely under control with just one controller. With LTG map control.

The VRDactive variable volume flow controllers are used to control the volume flow in round air ducts of Comfort Air Technology systems independently of the pre-pressure. A full barrier can also be realized.
Available with dynamic (VRDactive) and static (VRDactive-s) measuring principle.
Activation and control are carried out with external energy (electrical).
With 2 dampers for supply/exhaust air control in parallel ducts (e.g. hotel rooms).
The volume flow is measured either on the supply air side (supply air-led ventilation) or on the extract air side (extract air-led ventilation) and controlled according to a specified setpoint. The other – unmeasured – volume flow is synchronized by the fixed mechanical connection of the two dampers.

  • Cost-effective design and low wiring effort: a compact controller for supply and exhaust air
  • Highest control accuracy of all known controllers in the low air velocity range due to differential pressure amplification
  • Very short design, insensitive to inflow, simple integration
  • Large control ratio of 1:10 (pipe velocities 1…10 m/s)
  • Also with static differential pressure measurement – suitable for laboratories and hospitals
