In many cases, air is the optimum medium for industrial heat treatment, industrial furnaces and thermal processing systems. We offer all three types of flow – axial, radial and tangential – and a customized solution for you.
Regardless of which method you use, with LTG fans you can optimize your process and the design of your system. An example of a thermoprocessing system: After forging, annealed steel parts are cooled and hardened by blowing in ambient air. In order to achieve the required hardness and thus material resilience, it is important that all parts are evenly exposed to air and that defined cooling curves are maintained.
LTG tangential fans fulfill these conditions. They generate an absolutely even air flow that reaches the entire work surface. Zone-by-zone control is also possible without any problems, so that specified cooling curves can be achieved without additional equipment such as air baffles, dampers, pressure boxes, etc.
In addition, the blow-out length can be precisely adjusted to the bandwidth. This means that the flow conditions are independent of the system width. In modular systems, the air flow can be tested on the smallest version and transferred to larger ones. This makes design and series development much easier.
This is also particularly interesting for industrial ovens, for example in the hardening shop. Our fans are used in systems for
- Tempering, normalizing, annealing, heating, austenitizing, stress-relief annealing,
- Hardening, case hardening, carbonitriding, gas carburizing, recarburizing, nitriding, nitrocarburizing, gas nitriding, curing, soldering, brazing
- Tempering, steam oxidation, sintering
For special tasks, we are also happy to offer you the expertise of our LTG engineering services.
